Welcome to Lightning Tours! We are thrilled that you have chosen to embark on an adventure with us in El Salvador. Before joining our tour, please read and agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Booking and Payment
- A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your spot on the tour.
- Full payment must be made 30 days prior to the tour start date.
- Failure to make payment by the due date may result in the cancellation of your booking.
- Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellations must be made in writing.
- If you cancel:
- More than 30 days before the tour start date: Full refund of your deposit.
- 15-30 days before the tour start date: 50% refund of the tour price.
- Less than 15 days before the tour start date: No refund.
- Lightning Tours reserves the right to cancel tours due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will receive a full refund.
- Travel Insurance
- We strongly recommend you obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical expenses, trip cancellation, loss or theft of personal belongings, and other potential losses.
- Lightning Tours is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury during the tour.
- Itinerary Changes
- While we strive to adhere to our tour itineraries, unforeseen circumstances may require changes. Lightning Tours reserves the right to alter itineraries as needed.
- In the event of itinerary changes, we will notify you as soon as possible.
- Minimum Group Size
- All tours require a minimum of 4 participants. If the minimum is not met, Lightning Tours reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the tour, and participants will be notified in advance.
- Accommodation and Pricing
- The tour price is per person, based on accommodation in a twin room.
- Couples will be placed in the same room with a double or queen bed.
- A single supplement is available for an additional cost for those who prefer a private room.
- Health and Safety
- Participants must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or special dietary requirements before the tour commences.
- You are responsible for ensuring your health and fitness are suitable for the tour.
- Lightning Tours reserves the right to refuse participation to any individual who may compromise the safety or enjoyment of the group.
- Conduct and Responsibilities
- Participants are expected to behave respectfully and follow the guide’s instructions.
- Inappropriate or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the tour without refund.
- You are responsible for your own conduct and the safety of your personal belongings.
- Media Release
- By participating in the tour, you grant Lightning Tours the right to use your image, video, and audio recordings for promotional purposes.
- Liability
- Lightning Tours is not liable for any personal injury, death, property damage, or loss incurred during the tour.
- You release Lightning Tours and its affiliates from all claims arising out of your participation in the tour.
- Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of El Salvador.
- Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of El Salvador.
